• Ali Kiran took stage and announced that December 1st meeting minutes are on the web. No one had questions or rejections regarding meeting minutes. Yusuf Ozturk moved for approval, Erhan Ercan seconded. The motion was voted and passed.
• Carolyn Flor introduced herself. She has been the president of HPR for the last 2 years. Her term will end December 1st. She invited HOT nominating committee chair, Arzu Kurkoglu. Carolyn informed that she received bylaw change requests from HOT community to be approved by HPR bylaw committee. She recommended HOT setting up a meeting with HPR bylaw committee to clear some minor issues. She also informed that she received a question earlier regarding proxy votes. No proxy votes are allowed stated by HPR bylaws. Thus, no proxy votes would be allowed at today's election. She suggested that if HOT wants to pursue using proxy votes in the future, HOT delegated should contact HPR.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT President; Ali Kiran. Ali Kiran introduced himself and explained why he wanted to run for president.
• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for HOT president.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Ali Kiran to become president, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots. There were 33 voters.
• The votes were counted. Ali Kiran was elected by 33 YES votes to become HOT president.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT President; Ali Kiran. Ali Kiran introduced himself and explained why he wanted to run for president.
• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for HOT president. There was none.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Ali Kiran to become president, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots. There were 33 voters.
• The votes were counted. Ali Kiran was elected by 33 YES votes to become HOT president.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT Vice President; Canan Serdaroglu. Canan Serdaroglu introduced herself and explained why she wanted to run for vice president.

• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Canan Serdaroglu to become 1st vice president, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots. There were 33 voters.
• The votes were counted. Canan Serdaroglu was elected by 33 YES votes to become HOT 1st vice president.
• 3 people left the meeting. Elections continued with 30 voters.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT 2nd vice president; Baris Guler. Baris Guler was not present. Ali Kiran spoke for Baris and explained why he wanted to run for 2nd president.
• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for HOT 2nd president. There was none.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Baris Guler to become 2nd president, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots.
• The votes were counted. Baris Guler was elected by 27 YES and 3 NO votes to become HOT 2nd vice president.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT Secretary; Salih Ergut. Salih Ergut introduced himself and explained why he wanted to run for office of secretary.
• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for HOT secretary. There was none.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Salih Ergut to become HOT secretary, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots.
• The votes were counted. Salih Ergut was elected by 29 YES and 1 NO votes to become HOT Secretary.
• Arzu announced the nominee for HOT Treasurer; Ayten Kaplan. Ayten Kaplan introduced herself and explained why she wanted to run for office of treasurer.

• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for the first HOT alternate delegate. There was none.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Ozgur Kurt to become HOT alternate delegate, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots.
• The votes were counted. Ozgur Kurt was elected by 28 YES and 1 NO votes to become the first HOT alternate delegate.

• Sengul Kurkoglu was not present, Ali Kiran spoke for her and explained why she wanted to run for alternate delegate position.
• Carolyn asked three times if there were any floor nominations for the second HOT alternate delegate. There was none.
• Ballots were distributed. Every one was to write down YES or NO on the ballot. YES for Sengul Kurkoglu to become second HOT alternate delegate, NO to reject.
• Tellers Erhan, Sarp and Celal collected the close ballots.
• The votes were counted. Sengul Kurkoglu was elected by 24 YES and 5 NO votes to become the second HOT alternate delegate.
