Where: Balboa Park

House of Turkey participated at the biggest event of the year: December Nights at Balboa Park. Here is our President Dr. Kiran's message about the event:

Dear Members and Friends of House of Turkey,

Thank you all volunteers, we have had the most successful December Nights events ever this year. Our food booth was one the busiest in the whole park (Thank you for delicious food Bilal, Tuba - Pasha Mediterranean Cuisine, and Cevdet Ugur - The Baklava King), we had over one hour of show time in the best time spot with the biggest crowd I have ever seen in the lawn area. This is your success, all volunteers AND ALL MEMBERS AND FRIENDS WHO VISITED OUR BOOTH. Thank you!

I do not want to miss any names hence I will not try to list allvolunteers here but I would like to mention a few:

Tansel Daya did a wonderful job of organizing the entertainment: Aysegul Underhill, Turkish School children, Group Anatolia, and Dilek Hoss, you were all great! Thank you!

I also want to thank Phillip Westernoff and the Turkish Airlines for their support. Phil was there all they long and drive all the way from LA to be with us. Thank you!

Canan Serdar and Ayten Kaplan (and their families) thank you, thank you, thank you! Besides organizing the whole event,  these two ladies put enormous effort: Canan was there before 10 AM and was still there after 5 PM, including driving to/from LA, it is over 12 hours of hard work . Ayten also started with setup and was the last one to leave after 11 PM.

Again, I can go on with the list but I am afraid to leave off any one of you, THANK YOU ALL.
